We do things differently
We develop and nurture young leaders by helping them connect, care and lead with their community, their environment, and themselves.
Our experienced team have designed an evidence-based student curriculum covering three key educational streams:
-
Outdoor Education & Leadership
Students learn to lead and thrive in nature with outdoor and indoor team-based challenges.
-
Environmental Care & Sustainability
Hands-on and unique lessons on permaculture, aquaponics, food production, and waste management.
-
Social & Emotional Wellbeing
Our holistic approach includes neuropsychology, mindfulness, and attention training for a well-rounded outcome.
Continuous development for lasting benefits
We deliver a sequential program experience for Prep to Year 12 that actively supports the development of young leaders who will positively influence our future businesses and communities.
Each of our curriculum streams start with introductory topics and activities for the early years, and gradually evolve into advanced active learning projects. In our senior year program, students are encouraged to participate in team projects which blend the learnings from previous camp programs and their current school curriculum.

Our commitment to shaping today's youth
At Camp Cooby, we truly believe that today's children are the leaders of the future and it is our responsibility to help them grow into positive and productive members of our community.
According to a 2015 CEDA Report, 40% of current jobs will no longer exist in the next 10-15 years. This means that we have to start now to develop and innovate the young minds of today to prepare them for their future.
Growing research also supports the importance of helping young people connect with self, others and the environment. Our camp programs are uniquely designed to achieve an equilibrium of health relationships while incorporating the vast benefits of great outdoors and learning with the latest technologies.
